the sliver of borderfringe community where i find myself currently situated is really big on raves.* like, reallly big. it's our way of celebrating our numerous nonconformities; what better way to celebrate than pummeling your eardrums with a ridiculous overdose of synthesizers and incredulously-paced drum and vocal samples? i've known this song for almost as long as i've been listening to creative commons music, and, under blaring stage lights and fog machines, found this new context for it. rave the statelines!
